The Italian national bird...
If you look carefully, you can see the Italian national bird in the upper right-hand corner of the picture. You can find it in every Italian city (from tip to toe). Can you see it? Look carefully. Hint... it's the crane! Italy is under constant restoration/construction. You'll see cranes sticking up everywhere. One day, I watched a builder tearing down a crane that had been used to restore a local palazzo and right next door there was another contractor building the base for another crane. At first, cranes stuck out a bit. After a while, we didn't really see the cranes anymore... just the cityscape. It's much nicer that way.
