Our family adventure in Italy...

life / living / eye of the storm — savannah smash faceMost people say that Savannah looks like Anne-Marie but I’m not sure I see the resemblance. Our family adventure in Italy gave life perspective to our children and opened their eyes to the world in which we live (more). Hopefully, we all learned that there isn’t a "right" way to do things but rather "different" ways. I know we’ve all gained a greater appreciation for people from other countries (since we’ve been on the other side).

When we first spoke of moving and living in Italy, our children reacted with concern (mostly because of the friends they would be leaving behind and the difficulty of learning a new language). When the two years were over, we were all sad to leave (mostly because of the friends we were leaving behind)... isn't that interesting!
