La Torre di Pisa...
The Torre di Pisa is a very famous landmark in Italy. Unfortunately, after you've seen the tower, there's not a lot to do in Pisa. My suggestion would be to put the railroad station right up next to the tower, open the doors, give everybody 30 seconds to take the obligatory "I'm holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa" picture and then go and spend the rest of the day in nearby Lucca (plenty of beauty and charm)... sorry Pisa.I referred to the Leaning Tower of Pisa quite often while living in Italy but this was usually describing the size of gelato (Italian ice cream) I wanted to eat (so tall that it would want to fall off the cone).
