Italian style...
Italians pride themselves on their fashion sense (e.g., clothes, shoes, hairstyles). Here we see Craig and Savannah trying to set a new trend in hair styling (which thankfully didn’t take). Italians don’t often "dress down." In fact, they’re usually wearing a complete ensemble. Even when shopping at the grocery store they're dressed like they're going out for a night on the town.I remember once correcting an Italian friend regarding the length he'd tied his tie. He quickly retorted, "Are you, an American, going to tell me, an Italian, how to dress? You must be joking!" And, he was right. What do I know about fashion and style? I found that most Italians don't have a huge wardrobe but rather a few outfits that are very nice. Generally speaking, clothing is more costly in Italy.
It’s easier to distinguish an Italian vs. a non-Italian by what the person is wearing (shoes speak the loudest) than by their face or hair. In my case, skater shoes, jeans, t-shirt, blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. all scream American! I confess that I did buy some Prada shoes at the outlet store near Firenze but I still prefer my Globes.
