Making each day count...

Italian photos - sunflower fieldOn the one hand, I'd like our family to have a very full life with rich experiences. This way, if any of my at-risk children have inherited the killer HD gene, they won't feel cheated and blame God (more). On the other hand, I'd like to raise awareness and funds to research a cure for this dreaded illness. There are tens (perhaps hundreds) of thousands of at-risk families just like mine.

I've learned to do the best I can and then leave the rest for the Universe out there. I can't change the past and I sure can't control the future. All I can do is live in the now... and, like Trevor says, "make each day count!" I'm not sure I'm very good at that.
